Our Process & Philosophy
All associates at the Rounsavall Title Group take great pride in both providing superior care and attention to our clients and in being recognized in the community for providing one of the most unique closing experiences around. This starts with the founder of our company, Mr. G. Hunt Rounsavall, Jr.
G. Hunt Rounsavall, Jr.
Hunt Rounsavall, a native of Louisville, is an attorney whose primary areas of practice are residential and commercial real estate, as well as general construction law and litigation. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina, and then subsequently earned his law degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 1998. In addition to all of the state courts of Kentucky, Hunt has been admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky. He is a member in good standing with the Louisville Bar Association (Real Estate Section), the Kentucky Bar Association and the American Bar Association. In addition, he is the author of several published works, including the treatise entitled Construction Lien Law in Kentucky (Lorman Publishing, 2001).
Hunt was raised in a community service-oriented environment, as his parents were integral in the founding and development of Louisville's Ronald McDonald House in 1984. In fact, he personally joined the Board of Directors of the Ronald McDonald House in January 2000, and was immediately appointed the organization’s fundraising chairman. The following year, Hunt was asked to serve as chairman of the House's 2002 Capital Campaign, in which the organization raised $4.5 million to fund the House's first expansion and development project since it opened its doors. He also has served on the boards of directors of several other community organizations throughout Louisville, including the Louisville Science Center (in which he served on the Board’s Development Committee). For his leadership within the community, he was named as one of the top forty business leaders under the age of 40 by Business First of Louisville.
His Practice Today
As for his current legal practice, Hunt has been involved with real estate and construction law since 1998. During the course of his career, he has conducted residential and commercial closings throughout the Commonwealth, in the forms of both purchase transactions and refinances. He has represented a number of banks, mortgage companies, and private lenders throughout the nation. His experience and knowledge in the real estate arena ensures that he is able to respond to almost every issue or concern that might arise during the closing process. As such, to make sure that all closings are conducted in a professional manner, he is almost always present for transactions to which he has been entrusted.
